Friends of Camp Lemieux is a charitable non-profit organization which raises funds to support the mission of Camp Lemieux and help nurture the faith of children, youth and young adults through small group living and new experiences in an outdoor setting. Camp Lemieux strives to provide opportunities to experience a Catholic Christian community through participation in the Sacraments and demonstrate that Christianity can be an exciting, integral and active part of everyday life.
Each year Camp Lemieux is faced with challenges of maintaining aging facilities, and increasing food, utility and property costs. Recognizing that many families are facing similiar increased expenses; donations are used to help maintain low camp registration fees. It is also through the generous donations by the "Friends" of Camp Lemieux that we are able to help sponsor children, who would otherwise be unable to experience the camp environment. Additional finances are needed to build and maintain facilities and update the programs and recreational equipment.
In recent years Camp Lemieux has received memorial donations. In response, a trust fund account has been activated to allow people to ensure their legacy continues to support and grow Camp Lemieux. For more information please contact us at friends@camplemieux.com.
